About Us

The Billard Center Bern is a centrally located meeting point for billiard, snooker, and dart enthusiasts in the city of Bern. In a relaxed atmosphere, we combine sports, socializing, and bar operations – uncomplicated, friendly, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support our guests in the bar and game operations
• Serve drinks and prepare simple beverages
• Operate the cash register, settle the billiard table accounts
• Distribute game materials (billiard balls) to guests
• Independently manage shifts, including cash closing and closing the facility
• Assist with general business operations
• Refill sold bottles, snacks, etc. (daily in the morning shift), assist with goods receipt and inventory
• Ensure order and cleanliness in the guest area
• Share responsibility for smooth daily and evening operations

Working Hours

• Shifts from Monday to Sunday
• Flexible scheduling upon agreement
• Evening and weekend shifts are included
• Working hours divided into shifts: 10:30 - 17:30 and 17:30 - 00:30, one hour longer on Friday and Saturday night
• Scheduling provided in advance

Your Profile

• Team player, reliable, and resilient
• Flexible availability (also evenings and weekends)
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
• Independent work style and sense of responsibility
• Good German skills (other languages are an advantage)
• Safe handling of cash and money
• Minimum age 18 and valid work permit for Switzerland
• Experience in gastronomy, bar or sales is an advantage
• No formal gastronomic education required
