Full Time Chef (Taiwanese Kitchen)

We are a small family-owned, family-run Taiwanese restaurant in Kreis 4 Zurich. Since July 2021 we have gained a popular following based on the novelty, variety and quality of our food and service. Each meal is prepared individually with care to ensure an excellent dining experience.

Your tasks

• Manage kitchen helper and preparation chef to set up kitchen for service and prepare ingredients
• Manage stock and inventory
• Supervise cleaning and food storage in compliance with the HACCP guidelines
• Cook main course wok fry dishes
• Opportunity to bring creativity and fresh ideas to developing the menu and specials

Your profile:

• Living in or close to Zurich, Kreis 4 or willing to relocate to Switzerland from the EU
• Reliable, hard-working, willingness to learn, cooperation with team members and able to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Intermediate communication in English and Mandarin is a must
• Training qualifications and experience in Asian kitchen is required, knowledge of Taiwanese cuisine is essential

Offer

• Starting immediately
• Full time (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday lunch 10:30-14:00 and Tuesday - Sunday nights 17:00 – 22:30)
• Monthly wage contract following L-GAV guidelines including 13th month salary, 25 working days paid vacation
