Who are we?

The Restaurant Le Rhin Bleu belongs to Groupe Oniro, which operates six other restaurants in Basel, a school canteen, and a boutique hotel with restaurant in Riehen. Le Rhin Bleu is an outdoor restaurant located directly over the Rhine, open from April/May to September, offering 110 seats and a bar area. Our culinary offerings focus on modern Mediterranean cuisine with a seasonal à la carte menu and daily changing lunch menus. We place great value on sustainability in production and prefer local partners.

What are your responsibilities?

• Service in the à la carte service
• Guest care from reception to farewell
• Preparation and execution of events
• Guest advising and order taking
• Creating and collecting guest bills
• Farewell of guests
• Preparing daily mise en place for the whole restaurant
• Cleaning tasks according to our HACCP concept
• Responsible for cleanliness and order at your assigned station and in the entire restaurant area

What do you bring?

You are happy to be part of a team, open-minded, and bring a willingness to learn and motivation. We require fluent German communication, and English and French are advantageous. You have 1-3 years of experience in à la carte service.
