The Gstaad Palace with 90 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants, 2 bars and a legendary nightclub is an internationally renowned 5-star luxury hotel. It is owned by the Scherz family and is one of the last traditionally family-run Grand Hotels - a landmark in Switzerland.

We are looking from mid-December 2024 or by mutual agreement for a:

Asia Chef
seasonal contract (Winter Season 2024/2025)

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Carrying out all work in the production area in accordance with quality and management guidelines
• Preparation, processing and presentation of all dishes according to instructions and in consultation with the Culinary Director
• Providing the required mise-en-place
• Compliance with kitchen standards and hygiene regulations
• Proper storage of all food
• Care and cleaning of all work areas and equipment
• Compliance with all HACCP guidelines

Qualifications:

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a chef
• Several years of experience in Asian cuisine
• In addition to your quality awareness, you are characterised by flexibility, resilience, team spirit and enthusiasm
• Ability to communicate in English, other languages an advantage
