Kitchen Employee / Kitchen Assistant / Stewarding (fixed-term)

The Swiss Epilepsy Foundation (EPI) is a multidisciplinary organization. It includes the EPI Residential Work, EPI Hospital School, Lengg Secondary School, the Dapples Donation, a seminar center with restaurant, and the EPI Central Services. Additionally, the Swiss Epilepsy Foundation, in collaboration with another foundation, oversees the Lengg Clinic AG, a clinic for epileptology and neurorehabilitation. Around 1000 employees are dedicated to these social tasks. The site is located on the outskirts of Zurich, with a breathtaking view of Lake Zurich and the Alps.

Diverse Responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks according to HACCP regulations and standards in the kitchen, as well as assignments at various dishwashing stations.
• Participation in food band service, production in both cold and hot kitchens.
• Compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Occasional involvement in major events such as banquets and buffets.
• Work in shifts with working hours between 6:00 AM and 7:45 PM.

Your Profound Talents

• Completed training as a kitchen employee or assistant EBA.
• Very good knowledge of German (at least level B2).
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in a large kitchen.
• Professional experience in the preparation of cold and hot dishes.
• Clean, precise, and efficient work style.

One team of around 40 employees prepares approximately 1200 meals per day, fresh and in various dietary forms. We supply the EPI Park restaurant and the residential and hospital areas. Additionally, the preparation of events is part of our culinary offering.
