Job Description
Very good know how of Tandoor and Curry Preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes according to restaurant standards
Preparation of curries, tandoori dishes, biryani, dals, rice, naan, and starters
Correct use of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
Mise en place (preparation of ingredients) for daily service
Ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Compliance with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations
Proper storage and handling of food according to hygiene standards
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen work area
Supporting menu planning and daily kitchen operations
Assisting with stock control and minimizing food waste
Working closely with the kitchen team during service
Following instructions from the Head Chef and management
